The most important functionality of this version is the introduction of Accounting Server in order to automatically transfer the primary accounting documents, having as benefit increased operating time and control over transfers.
The Accounting Server:
- is secure, with access based on roles
- is programmable, frequencies can be set to automatically transfer at documents or company level
- allows notifications by email, running task's results (interval running, no. of transferred documents, no of documents not transferred)
- documents which can be automatically transferred are: customer invoice, shipments , customer receipt, vendor invoice, NIR, receipt voucher, voucher use, transfer voucher, material self receipt.
The accounting server can be used as long as Socrate+ maintenance and support subscription is active.
New features are available also for the following modules: Administrator, Definition, Commercial, Treasury, Production, POS and Fixed Assets.
Commercial module
- when editing price offers is possible now to search for an item in the articles table
- possibility to add, modify and delete items within this module
- it's not possible to generate customer shipments and customer receipts with obsolete items
- when generating receipts, the receipted customer shipments are checked first
- Introduced the possibility of specifying distribution expense type: Generic, total direct costs, direct labor, production quantity produced on the main production capacity
- introductions of new sistem parameters and new selection filters
- Improved reports such as : production plan, tracking sheet, Ante / Postcalculation, implementation period, new selection filters, format changes
For the integration between this module and Position, a series of improvements have been made, such as:
- Sales reports can be obtained during the day (partial report) which include data imported from Position
- Information concerning the cashiers are now also transferred from Socrate to Position
- More data are imported from Position, such as hours, minutes and seconds, to be included on the receipt
